I think the food in J on TAP is better than most other carriers. The problem is the service (or lack thereof) by TAP FAs. I think TAP's onboard service is near the bottom of the barrel. It seems ingrained in both the very young crew and the older folks. I guess it's just the corporate culture. If TAP goes private or is bought by one of the bigger airlines, there will be a lot of work to be done to get the FAs to realize that they have to give good service and not just treat their position as another government job..
