Also here for the eclipse, specifically chosen for the location of the Canadian Corner Fallsview rooms, booked 4/7-4/9 a year out in advance (camping the room release) at a base rate of ~500 CAD (ended up ~630 after all the taxes and resort fee). Self-parking costs you another ~39CAD + tax.

As above (quite literally actually, we were below), found the waterfall shower excellent (also get to have a nice waterfall view while being waterfalled), wifi was sufficient to work out of, good bed. AC was definitely miscalibrated in our room, as it certainly was not 78F in there (the target we settled on). Got a 12PM checkout (Gold).

Breakfast buffet was very busy (they actually mistakenly cleared our table out when we went for round 2) but decent enough - pancakes were meh, waffles were much better (fresh instead of in the heaters), omelets good & gigantic, honeydew was the best fruit there, outside of the whole oranges (peel these instead of the pre-peeled ones).

Too bad about the clouds, only got glimpses of the partial before and after totality; and 30m later it was completely clear ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
