I think some of the hotels are still confused about the breakfast benefit.
I checked with one of the Niccolo hotels , and they told me that breakfast was capped at a maximum of 2 guests. I pointed out to them that nowhere in the Terms-and-Conditions does it say that the breakfast is capped at 2 guests.
Therefore my interpretation of the Terms is that: if I had booked one room for 100 guests (myself and 99 other guests), then the hotel has to provide breakfast for 100. In my case, I booked one room for 3 guests (myself and 2 other guests), so I am entitled to breakfast for 3 persons. But the hotel denies that this is the case.
I am currently asking GHA helpdesk to clarify with both the hotel and myself (I doubt they'll bother clarifying with the hotel). At the same time, I am also worried that the hotel staff might bear a grudge against me for being "problematic" and might deliberately deny me some of the benefits of GHA Titanium (e.g.: denying me a room upgrade by citing unavailability of rooms). Sigh.
