It is a matter of getting award flight booked before it gets waitlisted. Under normal circumstances 72 hrs is minimal but coming from perspective of someone who is new to KrisFlyer, would have never known that I needed to create a nominee as other airlines just let you book another passenger on same itinerary with your points.
Should do research and cant assume anything.
Every airline is different.
as stated before, plenty of time to nominate people.
72 hrs is nothing, unless it is for scammers.
Maybe will help cut down on those mileage brokers/sellers.
