Nominees could have been added months or years in advance...
Good for sq to require 72 hours wait to prevent scammers.
It is a matter of getting award flight booked before it gets waitlisted. Under normal circumstances 72 hrs is minimal but coming from perspective of someone who is new to KrisFlyer, would have never known that I needed to create a nominee as other airlines just let you book another passenger on same itinerary with your points.
