I looked again: The official reason is now prior crew-related delays, not MX. I don't put much stock into word of mouth reasons from various people around the airport as to why a flight was delayed nor would I get angry over this. "Crew relayed delay" could be that a pilot might not have been feeling well, the pilots got delayed somewhere else (for MX, weather, etc.), or some other reason. A delay of 2:45 doesn't make my angry (anymore). Nor do cancellations that happen quickly. Delays of 12+ hours do as do cancellations after hours and hours of rolling delays. Perspective is key.
