Gotta say the banter going back and forth about whether this property is worth staying is really not value add to the discussion.

As mentioned above, this property is not necessarily going to be a fit for some people, either as a legitimate Vegas lodging, or as a mattress run.

I see people posting how it's impractical or not worthy for a variety of their own personal views and beliefs.

However, the real value of this forum is to provide data points or experiences, and not to argue back and forth over whether there's value in a person choosing to stay here or not; "value" can be a highly subjective definition.

I've been doing Vegas in one form or another for 30 years. I've done 4 New Year's celebrations there. I've arrived by plane, bus, and car. I've gotten around Vegas by all modes available: walking, car, limo, taxi, bus, and monorail. Everyone has different approach to handling Vegas, so one person's approach is not necessarily better or worse than another's. I just did a transfer from LAS to Rio via bus. Timed right, totally doable, albeit time intensive.

I'd love to know more about why kiosk check in don't work, as I didn't appreciate standing 20 minutes in line to check in, when 3 available kiosks were supposedly functional.

And, yes, it does appear that they're clamping down on breakfast benefits (enforcing 11am time window, no to go orders), but overall, it's a pretty darn good breakfast opportunity for Globalist. Presuming that the food is to one's personal liking.

Overall, from a personal perspective, this is a great addition to the Hyatt portfolio given they no longer have MGM partnership. There are no real alternatives for them (us}, at least from a Globalist perspective of having resort fees waived. Marriott's MGM partnership doesn't compare well with what Hyatt had and free breakfast. Looks like MGM learned from their mistakes w Hyatt.
