The restrictions are pretty mild:

The most important thing to consider is that it's booked on 999 ticket stock (Air China) - and incoming and outgoing are on CA metal (generally spoken)..

It doesn't matter where you buy the ticket from, as long as it produces ticket stock 999 (Should usually be the case for a pure CA itin)
