I checked out the Asus Zenbook and it looks like a decent laptop but it did not feel all that strong to me (despite meeting some of the mil specs). Maybe that's just perception but I decided to go for the Gen 12 X1 in the end, even though it was double the price. Time will tell if that was a smart thing to do :-)
