I didn't bother with breakfast, opting for 10:45am In N Out instead. I did tweet Hyatt in flight to ask them to notify the property of my late arrival. I was still marked as a no show, but it all got straightened out (and more importantly, it did not delay my check in).

I like to get into Vegas the Thursday night before a Friday-to-Monday weekend trip, and I see no reason why I wouldn't use this as a simple place to crash again in the future.
I don’t think it’s a horrible property overall I just run into many issues with staying there.

Some people are saying to fly out solely to stay there for cheap EQN’s which if that’s the case find a Cat 1 Off Peak. For us RT it’s $540 in transportation there and back sadly.

Another issue is I’m comped at any MGM or Caesars property in Vegas so I’d be giving up a much nicer and better stay to stay at Rio, which would be a terrible trade off.

If you’re staying Thursday to Monday which is what I believe I read rates go to $100+ how’d you pull off $24???

A big negative for us is location it takes us over 30 minutes each way to walk to Aria/Cosmo plus our kids get tired. We can’t really Uber because we’d have to bring car seats and carry them everywhere for the day. So if it were located on the strip we’d definitely find it a much better property and would happily even pay a bit more to stay there.
