I have a client who has over 1,000,000 Royal Bank "Avion" points and is considering exchanging them for over 1,500,000 BA miles under the current exchange offer. He is Canadian and would be using the BA miles mainly on USA AA domestic flights, mainly the 25,000 mile type. What are the differences dealing with BA vs. going directly online with AA. Someone told me that BA needs the request several days in advance instead of last minute possibilities with AA online. Any North American have any experiences!
