I will say though, I understand that it doesn’t work in your specific case, but for me the option to get moved to Conrad, get my points back, AND get a voucher to go back to WA for whatever number of dates is pretty compelling as long as I could negotiate that the voucher would need to be applicable to OWV availability as reef is impossible.
Alilia is my wife pref only if it’s water villa like original booking , but this is out of picture as no avb during our stay. the trip is booked with 2 room a year ago to celeb my folks 70 and 40th anniversary, with previous stay in Conrad, we did not wanna repeat it again as we even paid cash upg years ago. Let alone the reallocation is beach villa due to standard room type.
the voucher is good for one room (booked two for this upcoming reservation ) of the stay not two. And standard room not owv, blackout date Dec to Jan . Exp in a year. The current points certainly will be refunded.
that being said , revisit to Conrad doest seem works in our case as my folks will not be coming next year with other trips already planned. But I’m at their mercy , and they seem reluctant negotiate . Take it or leave deal seems like .
