Absolutely, I agree 100% which is why I also wrote that "for SAS' sake, codeshares and interline agreements with major SkyTeam partners should be up-and-running sooner rather than later". Is it wishful thinking to have a commercial partnership in place with certainly AFKL, maybe also others, before September 1st? If yes, then SAS bookings will surely take an unwelcome beating for many months to come.

The inevitable frustrations for passengers have already been evident in this forum from [MENTION=35000]SusanDK[/MENTION] 's tale of an SK-issued ticket with a UA-operated connecting flight, where the UA agents couldn't rebook onto SK anymore. There will undoubtedly be many more of these unfortunate situations until the dust has hopefully settled later in the year.
