04/07/2024 30k Skymiles for $2k spend in 3 months. Accepted.

My background: I opened this card in 2017 and through about 2020 I did put about $60k annual spend on it for the various benefits (Mqd waiver and bonus Mqms) and to meet medallion thresholds. Since the status extensions during the pandemic, I have put less and less on the card to the point that over the past 2 years, I used it entirely for delta purchases only. I just wanted something to bridge me into the next year as my AF posted at the old rate. I am planning to drop the Delta family of cards entirely and switch to the Platinum and Gold regular Amex cards or consolidate within Chase to use UR points entirely.

For now, I’ll enjoy the new credits ($660 worth due to that $100 eCredit), the old $550 AF, and unlimited skyclub access and possibly one more year of Delta diamond status before giving that up due to their ridiculous MQD thresholds to qualify each year. At the moment, Delta is paying me to hold that card.
