Sure, but I'm looking at it from booking on points (both hotel and airfare) perspective which certainly makes it more economical although I understand transfer costs, F&B, and activities do add up.

Also, if you're even just 30, how many more times will you get to here if it's once every 10 years? Maybe another 5 times max if you're lucky. And if one is already 40/50 then you're just looking at another 3-4 times. I hope to be able to make it out here (or other Maldives resorts) more times than that before I get too old and frail to make the trip .
