Good points, but I’m not convinced:

-hand baggage only fares are common on mainline BA/IB and other alliance carriers

-I don’t think the target groups for selling lounge access to overlap at all. BA Silver/Gold card holders (without Priority Pass) are IMHO unlikely to fork out £30-45 for a third-party lounge on a short haul itinerary



And lastly, back on topic, I think flight BA8081 from LHR to ORY is borderline false advertising, if it comes without any FF benefits for BA/IB elites.
