I've never been aware of it flying EY from Asia to Europe and vv. Never flown EY ex MAN though....
Bags get x-rayed etc. when they go down into the baghall.
Few random items that security have pulled. Daily for a lot of airlines.
Hoverboard
Water guns
Olive Oil
Nerf guns
Power bank / generator thing with a decent sized lithium battery
Nerf gun
Bottles of bleach etc. Cleaning products.
Did hear some comments off people on last night's QR24 to DOH that security was wonderful as they didnt have to remove their liquids, the staff were polite and no issues.
Definitely swings and roundabouts.
Was chatting to one of the pilots whilst they were waiting to board and he said that there are far, far worse places for security than Manchester
