Can you gurus provide some guidance to someone who is not particularly familiar with the hotel elite nights game?

My partner is travelling on work and can book their own hotel (i.e. not go through an agent) - I will be travelling with my partner.

Is it possible that we book it so that I can earn the nights/points but we get the invoice with my partner's name so they can charge back to their company?
