I'm curious if staying at the Gaylord Opryville is a bad idea?
Currently have it booked at a decent points rate where as most downtown hotels are pricing rather high.
We will be seeing a show at the Grand ol Opry our first night, but I imagine most of our time will be spent outside the Opryland area.
Nothing wrong with Gaylord Opryland. The Broadway action is about 20 minutes away. Best bets downtown IMO are The Joseph, JW Marriott and Westin. Downtown Nashville is nearly always pricey whether in points or cash. Depends on your commuting tolerance.
