Cathay may charge a change fee on the cheapest economy class (or it might be nonchangeable nonrefundable). You have to check the fare rules
Expedia itself can also change an additional fee on top of Cathay's.
If you booked a USA route (or on Expedia:s USA site) you should have 24 hour to cancel for free with full refund. Check your Expedia booking details before you cancel, it will mention this
