I ended up booking J reward flights on the non-stop flights I would have booked in Y after I talked with my colleagues to make this part of policy (as the taxes on the reward booking are cheaper than the cash flight would have been, so I’m saving the company money!). I’ll talk to them further about which other cases we should allow .
