I booked an award ticket CDG-FRA (purchase location USA) for 5500 miles + $36.30 in taxes which I no longer need. Per FB policy, it seems it would cost 70€ to cancel this, which is excessive given the cost of the flight. However, based on this AF policy, it seems I can no-show the flight and then fill out an online form to get the $36.30 back. Does that apply only to tickets purchased in France, or is my departure from France sufficient to make that apply?
