But no, you're talking about ticketing currency which is trivial since it's just a conversion of NUCs to the locally billed currency (international fares are constructed in NUCs). What was being showing in the EF screenshot was flight availability, which had changed when the point-of-sale changed to France, even though the flight/overall itinerary was exactly the same [UA54 EWR-CDG].

LH/AC/NH all use point-of-commencement logic for their availability control, which means it doesn't matter where you're buying your ticket, the booking codes for a flight will be the same as long as you're using the same starting point. Basically where your trip starts flying from determines what booking codes will be made available for each flight in the itinerary. Given the substantial relationship UA has with those airlines through their JV, and all the ways we've seen them rethinking the traditional approaches to air fare structure/pricing, it would make sense that eventually they would bring themselves in alignment with their JV partners on this availability approach for ease of implementing new pricing approaches.
