BA Holidays flight moved forward 7hrs, incurring expenses - options?

My partner and I booked a BA holiday for LGW-KGS (Kos, Greece) this September. Daily outbound flights were all over the place, we picked a date when we could fly at 1510. Cost of getting to LGW for us during the day is about £13 each by train.

A week or so after booking, the outbound flight was moved forwards to 0800. Being a Sunday we now have no train option — it’ll cost us upwards of £120 for a very unpleasantly early cab, or similar/more to stay in a local hotel the night before (plus the train fare, not to mention messing up the Saturday).

I’ve read tons of advice about delays and cancellations and duty of care etc, but can’t find anything about rights when an outbound flight is brought forwards in a way that disrupts or costs money. At the moment the only “choice” I’ve been given is just to cancel the whole holiday and lose the deposit. The surrounding days have equally bad flight times, and the Kos hotel becomes more expensive if we change dates. Do I have any options here?
