- Inbound jet to DAL, from TPA, is delayed due to covered hazard...weather, or mechanical issue
- Once inbound jet arrives in DAL, new departure time is 1 hour or more later...i.e., no way to make connection in PHX
What do you do, to get coverage for a hotel room for an overnight?
- Remain in DAL?
- Board the delayed DAL-PHX, knowing connection will be missed, and stay overnight in PHX?
- Or something else? Or does coverage not apply, since it was only the TPA-DAL flight that was affected by the issue/hazard and it caused DAL-PHX delay?
I am thoroughly confused.
Thanks.
If the TPA-DAL flight is delayed due to a
mechanical problem, isn't WN responsible for paying for your lodging in the event of a mis-connect?
Are you sure that the PHX-LAX flight will operate on schedule tonight?
Edited to add: If a mis-connect at PHX is likely, ask to be re-accommodated on WN's DAL-LAX
