Hi all, I have a SV flight TUN-JED-CAN on Jun 18. Received email yesterday saying my original flight was cancelled and was rebooked to the next available flight 2 days later on Jun 20.

I checked Google Flight, SV has cancelled quite a few TUN-JED flights in mid Jun for some reason (may be Eid al-Adha?) and same day connection to JED-CAN flight would only be possible once a week on Thursday.

Can I request SV to rebook me on QR or TK flight? Which call centre should I contact to have a better chance?

If I accept the new flight on Jun 20, any chance to request SV to reimburse my additional hotel cost?

For reference, it is in J class and booked directly via SV's website.
