This is the interesting part. If I go on TK's website to make a revenue booking on the date I want to travel (1.5 months from now), the tickets sold are in class S (semi-flexible) and H (flexible). I was expecting the involuntary change system to give me an S or H too. But if the U class designation is correct (which I don't know, because I haven't confirmed the new tickets yet), then it means the involuntary change system can access lower fare classes that are still available but don't show on the website. I don't have an expertflyer or similar service to check if that's true.

I will update when I eventually change the ticket, but maybe that'll be in a month!
