The second time were LH flights with connection in MUC and FRA to overseas, the bag had HON tag(as F pax) on it. Someone made a hole to that luggage bag in one of those airports. Unfortunately I did not noticed it at the airport and therefore did not placed a claim afterwards. Fortunately the bag was still under the warranty and the official brand repair store fixed it.
On one occasion some years back at FRA, i was sitting in the plane at 3F & could see the baggage handlers pick bags off the truck & put them on the moving ramp up to the plane, i watched as one of the baggage handlers picked up my bag with HON tag & HON label & throw it on the ground causing one of the wheels to come off & other damage, i pressed the call button & informed the Purser, She went to the cockpit & came back to tell me it had also been witnessed by the Co Pilot. Lufthansa subsequently paid for a new suitcase. There are rogue employees in any large organisation, sadly….
