Usually I bring it up mishaps with Spa Directors or GM .. But this time, I did not bother, as I had dinner plans shortly after and did not care for a spa-recovery at this particular spa / did not want to deal with it. I will however, bring it up with regional director
so they can troubleshoot and hopefully others don't experience such a lukewarm spa experience.
However as we've all hinted, not all Aman or Aman spas are created equal, the best Aman spa experiences I've had were at Amanoi (2023), Amankora - Paro & Punakha lodge(2022/23) Amantaka(2023), Amanpuri (2022), Amansara (2019),
AmanCGV has no real boutique or gallery ( perhaps just as well too since everything is so outrageously priced ) and the spa was terrible back in ‘ 18 too , brought the up to various but the GM then actually did not have AMAN DNA though was trying - short lived stay . Pity the situation seems to be unchanged
As luxefarer has pointed out , disappointingly , not all AMAN spas are up to par .. liked Zoe , Nemu , Tokyo and others but note still waiting for spas / wellness “ centre “ at Kila !! , Wella and go find out which others - but the in suite was wonderful with our therapists
