I am looking for MUA upgrade -- from PE to J -- on AF (JFK - CDG booked as DL codeshare) for flight booked in a couple of weeks. While I see Z availability on the flight, each time I call DL platinum desk they say there is no MUA availability. Are they looking in the right place or is it true that these seats typically open just a few days before the flight? Anyone also know the going rate in miles (last year it was 40K).
