Delta ecredit for flight price changes
For the past couple of years, I have been able to request an ecredit for a flight if the price has changed (ie, lowers). I usually chat on the app and am able to keep the same itinerary. Today was the first time I was denied doing so (despite the fact that I was successful with another flight not even an hour before the request) and was explicitly told that a change in itinerary is required. I do see this policy on the Delta site now. Has anyone had luck here just changing a to a different itinerary and then rebooking the old itinerary for the ecredit?
