Arrived at EDI for my flybe flight to SOU. Cancelled. As flybe are a budget airline the attitude was pretty much "you are on your own." I managed to get a seat on the delayed bmi flight to LHR. I then had to take a bus from LHR to Reading station, followed by a train to Basingstoke and another from Basingstoke to Southampton Airport. I picked up my car and drove the rest of the way to Bournemouth. Finally got home at midnight. I felt a bit like Steve Martin and John Candy in Planes, Trains & Automobiles.
