However, with a 12+ hour transit, if your ticket was issued by QR (ie. the ticket number starts with 157-) you would be eligible to book the discounted hotels through Discover Qatar:

Prices are from USD 14 per person in a 4 star, USD 23 per person in a 5 star. Personally I would book one of those.

I noticed in the terms for it, it says, "
Check-in dates at hotel must match flight arrival date in Doha." My inbound flight's scheduled arrival time is 12:05 am, and my next flight is around 1 pm the same day. Should I still put the exact day of arrival, even if it's only a few minutes into the day? That forces the checkout date to be the day after, but by then I shouldn't physically be there anymore, so I'm not sure.
