Needs help and improvement. It is a charming spa center; however, it is a very underwhelming experience from the entrance ritual to actual therapy session, one of my least favorite aman spa experiences to date.
The staff wasn't exactly warm, friendly, or intuitive. I got to the spa 15 minutes early, no real welcome, no consult. When I got to the treatment room, I noticed although there was a chair and a foot bath - this was skipped, and this expected aman ritual was entirely ignored.... The same happened to me in Amanwella, so perhaps this is a systematic change or the result of staff changes / lack of training? I don't know.
As with most Aman spas, there is usually a tea and treat offered at the end of treatment; unfortunately, after waiting unattended, I had to ask for tea. I am not sure what explains the ailing spa experiences at Aman lately, but I'm hoping this isn't something permanent.
