Didn't want to start a whole new thread so asking a tangential question here. Need to fly Seville to London on May 10. Deciding between a Veuling flight and the BA flight. The Veuling flight is at a more reasonable time. The BA flight arrives in London near midnight which is not ideal, and I dont want to be stuck in an airport at that time of night. . Thoughts from anyone who has flown this route or comments on the BA flight reliability.
The new punctuality initiative notwithstanding, I would plan a margin that allows for up to an hour’s delay on the flight into LGW. BA’s punctuality - like most airlines - deteriorates through the day. The last flights of the day carry the greatest risk of delay. I don’t know to where you are heading after arrival into LGW, but the Thameslink and Gatwick Express trains run through the night (although on a rather sparse timetable in respect of the former).
Vueling is a horror.
