I checked in last night, and I was also offered the ¥1,000 restaurant voucher as one of the options. You can combine this with a ¥2,000 elite pricing - uncertain if this is promotional - for the breakfast for a ¥1,000 price. With the USD exchange rate and room rate I got during the sakura bloom, I'm not really complaining.

It's a bit unfortunate that I'm already starting to see some wear and tear on the furniture in the rooms and stains and such on the carpet in the hallway. During our previous stay things were still pristine.
