It was back in the late pandemic era when there was that uncertainty of Japan opening or staying closed in 2022, so appears times have changed. I just wasn't sure if either option would make a difference since I assumed people here were calling the English option.
I've been seeing some reports on YT as well where long hold times are due to people trying to use their expiring miles.
