We are considering flying BA from Philadelphia to Malta in the near future.

As mentioned, the route is from PHL to LHR and then LGW to Malta (obviously requiring txfr from LHR to LGW to continue itinerary) so my question is: Would the luggage go through all the way to Malta or would we have to collect luggage at LHR and re-check in at LGW?
