The other problem with getting Bose Headsets from Bose.com usa or another website recommended in the FT Travel Technology section that actually will ship overseas is that you need to have a US BILLING address to be able to purchase from them.

As I will be in Las Vegas for a few days at the end of February, does anybody know where I could buy these Headphones 'off the shelf'? I looked around in Tokyo this Xmas and never saw one on sale anywhere.

Even on ebay, it's rare to see them sold below £215 - and although they are new, you don't even get the free CD player. I suspect that people are just buying them in the US for the regular price and then selling them off over here, making a handsome £50+ profit plus keeing the CD player.
