Hi all, need a little creative help here.
My employer is paying for a flight but policy states that it has to be in Economy (and possibly the cheapest fare bucket). However, I want to upgrade this myself using cash to Business primarily for the extra baggage allowance.
Apart from calling QR directly, is there a way to know how much the upgrade would cost for each fare bucket (e.g. something like the following for a LON to DOH flight: GBP 1000 for O/T/W, GBP 800 for K/L/M/N/S/V, GBP 600 for Y/B/H)?
You could always avail the services of a full service High Street Travel agency where they can invoice your employer the economy class fare and you pay the difference for the business class ticket.
