Considering changing a refundable ticket in Polaris from LAX-HND to an award ticket. I’d like to make sure the award ticket is properly issued before I cancel the paid ticket, but will that be allowed as I would have two tickets on the same flight for a short period of time? Can I just call United and ask them to make the change?
