Back in the days when you could smoke in restaurants, it was "the thing" to steal the lovely Q-shaped ashtrays from Quaglino's in Mayfair. I never did, but partly because I didn't smoke...

Actually I'm so honest I bought my set of Iittala champagne glasses after flying Finnair, although having broken one I do need a spare. Don't worry Finnair, I have no upcoming flights!

Much like Virgin's salt and pepper shakers, the Watergate Hotel in Washington DC (recommended!) has pencils embossed "Stolen from the Watergate Hotel" as they know full well those will be the first to go. Taking that as an invitation, we did keep one of those.
