I sincerely hope you don't work in customer service, although I have had agents arguing like this before, who simply regurgitate what is written without thinking about the logic behind it all? If I book and fly in business class and the journey credits as economy class, there is clearly a miss-match somewhere. At the very least one could expect Qantas to write an explanatory note somewhere, rather than sticking with the very confusing current earnings table.
This is just the situation that QF has put in place for earning and it has been like that for quite a long while. What do you expect an agent to do when everything is correctly credited?
