Just returned from a short stay here. As another data point, as Platinum no status recognition at check-in and no upgrade - moved from Deluxe to Superior when I asked if anything better was available, but was told I wouldn't get the welcome gift if I changed rooms (and I didn't). Had to ask about breakfast, had to ask about parking. (Parking is indeed available at the NCP a block along George Street, at £15/night, discounted from the car park's regular overnight rate of £24) The Superior room was on the top floor of the modern building with a good view of George Square over the rooftops. Liked the bar and public areas, found breakfast to be OK, didn't try the restaurant. A promising start but based on my experience some more work needs to be done on the check-in experience. Am planning another stay next month so may email in advance to try to secure both an upgrade and the welcome gift...
