I could not move to an exit row because they were full of pax that had non-exit row seats before the plane swap. Also, unlike United, you do not have access to the seat map on the app after you check in.
Didn't know Frontier had 2 different A321 configurations. When this problem started, more than a year ago, I thought it was swaps between 320s and 321s. If it's now WITHIN 321s, the problem is going to get even bigger, and even harder to know about/deal with. And that seems to be the case.
My specific new problem was the disappearance of a seat change I made AFTER figuring out the emergency exit row had "moved." But if its moves all the time, both in advance and at the last minute, it's going to frequently be a nightmare to anyone booking the exit row -- especially Diamonds booking ahead.
One solution -- admitedly imperfect, especially with the introduction of the blocked off "Up Front" seats -- is to just book the Stretch seats up front instead of Exit Rows. Are there any rows that are ALWAYS Stretch seats regardless of aircraft change?
