I can get so much more done on a train than a commute to, security, wait time, flight time of air travel. Ive actually interviewed candidates on a shared train ride, and then flown them home. There are some interesting things you learn about people watching them travel
Avoiding security at Logan only means you have to go through security at EWR. Commuting to Logan isn't really any different than getting to South Station. What's definitely different is hauling luggage on and off three trains instead of just checking it at BOS and not having to deal with it until you arrive in Europe, whether nonstop or connecting.
