Thanks, yes, I got a pending appeal to get new voucher, but you know how these things can go. I just wish they'd make it clearer as I mentioned. They could, so being that vague seems definitely intentional as it makes the voucher use very restricted (loss of flexibility, it's basically non refundable) and that may scare away folks considering to sign up as the free Hilton night is one of the only tangible benefits aside from some sort of sign up offer. YMMV.
