We did a MAN-CPT via DOH at Christmas on QR. Also did MAN-DOH for the F1 last October. All 6 flights were on time or early

On the DOH-CPT leg, there was a switch to a Q-Suites A35K. We ended up in the middle seats. I've got to say I didn't find them particularly comfortable (there's no armrest on one side), and I didn't really like being enclosed. On the return, we'd booked the windows Q-Suites, which were far better IMO.

The B789 on the DOH-MAN had the "suites" that are similar to BA CWS. There seems to be an issue with these as the doors on all suites had to remain open, so everybody got a free wifi-voucher. After looking at the QR forum, this seems to be a common problem. I think I actually preferred the non-door B787.

Food and dine-on-demand was great.

Doing a LHR-DOH-DXB on the A380 in a few weeks... I've only ever done the EK A380 previously.

There seems to be loads of Avios availability on QR these days. Even ex-LHR.
