agreed - I don't mind 'robotic' when it is consistently good. Which trumps the complete spectrum of variability you can get from BA.
As with the OP, I still fondly remember our first QR experience, which was enhanced perhaps because it was the first, and our first whacky ex-EU shenanigans and maybe because it was such a long trip to NZ - but undoubtedly because it was underpinned by excellent service across all 4 sectors.
