A LOT of unnecessary panic caused which was absolutely no fault of the crew, but whoever uploads the datasets for the crew devices really should double check exactly what's going where, without assumption for religion or autonomous communities with different laws/rules/customs.
Or perhaps just leave it to pax to check what the local laws are, they are autonomous people after all. Is there an announcement that you can't cross the road outside of marked crossings upon landing in the US?
